The 14th World Congress on Qigong & TCM to Take Place in May in Toronto

The 14th World Congress on
Qigong & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) will
take place in Toronto at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, May 25th to 28th, 2012.
"For the first time ever, this event will take
place outside the USA. We are very pleased and honored to partner with Dr. Effie
Chow to host this yea of The Academy for Chi-Kung Studies
Confirmed speakers include Dr. Effie Chow (United
States), Dr. Stanley Ngui (Canada), Arthur Rosenfeld (United States), Mantak
Chia (Thailand), Marisa Vocca (Italy), and Qin Xiping (Japan) just to name a
This year's event will focus on the "root to wellness": strengths
of the individual and the group, the effectiveness of different modalities of
health and wellness, and creating a path to a better quality of life. The
three-day congress will include an opening ceremony featuring performances by
The Shaolin Monks and Traditional Chinese Orchestra. The event will also feature
keynote speakers, interactive workshops, lectures and demonstrations.
The 14th annual World Congress on Qigong and
Traditional Chinese Medicine aims to advance the education of natural health
practitioners as well as educating the beginner on health and well-being. It
also supports the development of clinical research, and facilitates the delivery
of high-quality natural healthcare worldwide.
